MISSION STATEMENT

Fair Play Child Care Center is dedicated to the goal of providing children a safe, happy, intimate, nurturing environment where they can enjoy the adventure of learning and growing. We believe that each child is special and unique. We are dedicated to the philosophy that children learn at their optimal level when their individual emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs are met. We form a partnership with each family to assist in the care and education of their child at Fair Play.

The mission of Fair Play is to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate program for all children enrolled at our center. To achieve our mission, the following goals have been identified:

· To provide a healthy, safe, nurturing environment

· To provide an environment which encourages emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development

· To encourage the development of a positive self image for each child

· To make learning fun so that children will desire to be lifelong learners through discovery and hands-on activities

· To encourage children in learning how to interact successfully with other children and adults to promote decision making, peaceful resolution of conflicts and a genuine respect and caring for others

· To provide opportunities for children to appreciate the beauty and nature of the world in which we live and to practice wise conservation of natural resources

· To develop language skills through an appreciation of books, fine arts and dramatic play

· To form a cooperative, active partnership with families to work together to meet the needs of each child

· To encourage physical development in an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork in a state of the art indoor gymnasium
